This is a great article. I work for a job board company that has just launched and ATS system within its job board capability (www.birddogjobs.com). It incorporates a job distribution tool, complete resume searching capability, candidate tracking/ranking/notes and EEO tracking for government mandated diversity requirements. It can capture job seekers from walk-ins, company website, job board advertising, etc. This kind of approach is great for those companies that don't have the resources to invest in the large ATS systems but still want to easily track their applicants, store their applicants and search their applicants at any time.

I agree and also an online eRecruitment ATS system that will enhance the way you do your recruitment and streamline the process, reduce time-to-hire and is easy to use will always be a big plus for recruiters.

I would argue that it is possible to achieve this. Simply select an ATS that is strong in job disctribution, or that partners with or better still, is fully integrated with a leading job distribution system. In the UK, Europe and US you should be looking out for ATS systems that work with Broadbean..
